Exalt IT is a Veteran-owned and Veteran-friendly company and 80% of our personnel are either Veterans, Reservists or married to Veterans. We believe that both private companies and government agencies can benefit greatly from the experience of the nearly 1.5 million members of the U.S Armed Forces expected to receive a discharge from military service in the next two years.

  • 1 in 2 veterans transitioning from the military in the past five years is unemployed.
  • The unemployment rate among vets is higher than that national average; 7.6% compared to 7.2%
  • For new veterans aged 18-24, the unemployment rate averaged 20.4% in 2012, more than five percentage points higher than the average among non-veterans aged 18-24.
  • Beyond the numbers, young veterans are entering the workforce with far more skills and experience than their civilian peers.

As a small company, Exalt IT has the unique opportunity to specifically target and recruit highly-qualified Veterans to work for us directly or for our clients. We have an in-house writer who works closely with every Veteran to format and customize their resume to fit a specific opportunity.
